학문적 글쓰기 과정의 분석 방법 연구 = Methods in Academic Writing Process Research

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국내의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구들의 동향을 살펴보고 앞으로 연구 방향에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 국내의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구들 가운데 10편의 연구물을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 국내의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구들은 대부분 쓰기 과정에 대한 분석보다는 글쓰기 결과인 텍스트를 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그리고 학습자의 쓰기 과정에 대한 면밀한 관찰보다는 텍스트를 대상으로 첨삭 지도를 하였을 때 나타나는 학습의 효과에 대해 논의하였다. 국외의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구들은 디지털 기술을 활용하여 학습자의 쓰기 과정을 면밀하게 분석할 수 있는 장면 녹화 프로그램을 활용하고 있었다. 프로토콜 자료를 통해 필자의 인지 과정에 대한 분석도 면밀히 수행하고 있었다. 더불어 눈동자의 움직임과 뇌 이미지 자료들을 인지 과정의 과학적증거로 활용하여 풍부한 쓰기 과정에 대한 정보들을 수집하고 있었다. 뿐만 아니라 문어적 의사소통을 분석하기 위해 사회 인지적 관점에서 필자의 사회적 상호작용 양상을 분석할 수 있는 분석 방법과 기술도 사용하고 있었다. 국내의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구도 이러한 다차원적 연구 방법을 사용하는 양상은 확인할 수 있었지만 국외의 경우와 같이 디지털 기술을 기반으로 한 범사회적인 작문 학습 및 연구는 이루어지고 있지 않았다. 그러므로 국내의 학문적 글쓰기 과정 연구는 앞으로 디지털 시대 필자들의 학문적 글쓰기 역량을 발달시킬 수 있도록 문어적 의사소통 전략과 초인지 전략을 면밀하게 분석하여 제언할 수 있어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyzed domestic trends of research methods in academic writing process and discussed about the direction of research methods in writing process research. This study conducted meta-analysis of 10 studies conducted with students to improves the quality of students` writing and writing ability. According to the analysis results, domestic research methods in academic writing were focus on the product text than writing process. And most studies showed a tendency to focus on the effect of writing leaning after the feedback and domestic studies were not important to observe the process of academic writing. The International research methods in writing process research analyzed the writing process by using the digital technique such as scene recording programs. These studies analyzed the cognitive process of writer through protocol resources and collected various materials for understanding of process in academic writing and researched cognitive evidences such as eye movements and brain images. Furthermore international studies used techniques and programs to investigate the aspect of writer`s social interaction based on social cognitive perspective. This study explores that the domestic research methods in academic writing process used social cognitive methods, but these were needed development of digital technology. Therefore future studies should be presented the written communication strategy and meta-cognitive strategy for academic writing ability of writer in the digital age.
