In modem society, where changes rapidly and is characterized as society of knowledge and information, it is required for youth leaders to instruct youths, who are presenting varied needs, more appropriately not with traditional leadership but with new one. The new leadership can be defined as the leadership that leads all the members to cooperate to achieve a goal so that they can receive assistance and cooperation from others, that is based on trust toward the leader, and that can integrate different opinions. The leadership should encourage people to be more motivated to develop their potential, and accomplish a goal together by sharing information with others who are involved. Such a leadership can be defined an integral leadership of the youth leaders. Based on theories related to the process of development of leadership, this study classified types of leadership into five, investigated the degree of leaders` perception on leadership that they had in mind as a youth leader. Data were collected from youths by conducting a questionnaire survey, concerning how they perceived the leadership of the youth leaders. The data were analyzed, and the results of the analysis showed that the type youths perceived was emotional leadership, and the one they expected was integral leadership. The results of this study suggest as follows: ecessity of integral leadership should be recognized and leadership of youth leaders should be gradually improved into integral leadership. It suggest that Training centers or organizations in which trains youth leaders, and schools or associations should provide them with training programs to develop integral leadership.
