한국 사회의 의료혜택 불균형에 관한 윤리적 고찰

Continuing industrialization and rapid economic rising status bring us to enter leading countries. On the contrary, we might face so many problems associated social imbalances as the gulf between rich and poor, concentration of population to the capital region, and maldistribution of industrial resources. There is no exception to the rule in medical resources. The improvements in economic status can make us to desire for best quality of medical services in various aspects. The high income brackets are seeking for best medical services, so they move to large hospital located in the capital or overseas. The limitation of national health insurance is now restrict so many people can receive limited medical services. As increasing desire for best medical services, it is natural to grow in supply for medical personnel and resources. But the main problem is imbalance of the medical opportunities. There are increasing the medical cost, concentration to capital region, non-insurance medical activities and overlapping of the investments. In this paper, I would alert the imbalances in medical personnel and medical resources in Korean society. After that, I would provide the key to solution of the problems associated imbalances. To overcome the possessing personal barrier like individualism and Money, we should return to calling of Protestantism. God blessing and Love can make us reach to Heaven in the world. We should remember the professional ethics and ethical principles govern the medical activities. The ethical judgement should be considered as putting in patient`s place and be included biomedical ethics as principle of non-maleficence, justice and utility. The trinity of Lord in the bible is still showing interest in the disadvantaged people, an orphan or widow. We should change the medically imbalance society with warm heart as learned by the bible, we could make each other for the Lord`s goodness.
