반성적 체육전문인 양성을 위한 대학교 학부교육프로그램 개발 연구 = The development of an undergraduate program for the education of reflective sport professionals: Analyzing the characteristics of top kinesiology departments in the United States

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라는 변화하는 사회의 동향을 정확히 읽어내어 우수한 자질을 지닌 체육전문인을 육성하기 위한 대학 체육계열학과 학부프로그램 개발 노력이 절실히 필요하다. 지금 전문인교육 분야는 21세기 사회에서 가장 필요로 하는 전문인의 특징을 "반성적 전문인"으로 규정하고 그를 위한 직전 및 현직교육에 관한 연구를 집중적으로 하고 있다. 이런 맥락에서 본 연구에서는 "반성적 체육전문인"을 체육전문인의 이상적 모습으로 규정하고, 이같은 자질을 지닌 체육전문인을 체계적으로 교육시키기 위한 체육계학과(부)의 교육시스템과 그것의 구체적인 실천 프로그램의 틀을 개발한다. 제2절에서는 전문체육인 양성과 관련된 기존의 연구문헌을 비판적으로 검토하여 기능적 합리주의 논리가 체육전문인 교육을 위한 지배적 접근이 되어왔음을 밝혀낸다. 제3절에서는 기능적 합리주의 논리에 대안으로 최근 제시되는 반성적 실천주의 논리를 개념적으로 살펴보고 체육분야에서의 관련연구들을 소개한다. 제4절에서는 반성적 체육전문인 양성을 위한 효과적 대학프로그램의 특징을 교원교육 프로그램 개발연구의 결과를 근거로 하여 밝혀낸다. 제5절에서는 이 밝혀진 개념적 특징을 기초로 하여 반성적 체육전문인 교육을 위한 (4년제) 대학교 학부교육 프로그램의 구조와 내용을 제시한다. 그리고 마지막으로 이를 위한 몇 가지 환경적 조건을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The quality of sport professionals is in question recently. As the demand of sport consumers is becoming more and more specialized and quality-oriented, the necessity of highly qualified personale for the job gets urgency. In this paper, I have attempted an analysis on the current status and problem of undergraduate education for preservice sport professionals. It is purported to develop a framework for the undergraduate curriculum. In order to achieve this purpose, in the second section, I have analyzed and critiqued the dominant, theory-oriented technocratic approach to the education of undergraduate sport majors. In the third section, the reflective, practice-oriented approach is identified as a viable alternative for the technocratic approach. The theoretical base and conceptual characteristics of the reflective approach are introduced. Also most recent attempts to apply the reflective approach to the field of sport and physical education are identified. In the fourth section, an outline of an undergraduate program for the education of reflective sport professionals is provided in terms of its objectives, contents, and teaching strategies. An example of 4 year curriculum is also provided with an emphasis on the core subjects to the development of an reflective sport professionals. Summary and a few conditions for an effective implementation of the program are listed in the final section.
