      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This paper was investigated on the actual conditions of the school physical education and the trend of students' consciousness on the physical education item by item. I think that the followings are some of the considerations that we have to take into account.
      1. The students had wide variety of interests in various kinds of athletics. Since most of the students are conscious of the right purposes of physical education, there have been effective classes on physical training now. Since not a few students, however, considered athletic activities as recreations or sports themselfves, this point should be considered with the school physical education.
      2. Most of the students had interests in the physical training classes, but not a few of them were indifferent, and further more some of them were even negative. This point also needs some significant countermeasures.
      3. Though the degree of students' interests depended upon the kind of athletics, they had some other extra-curricular activities out side of the regular school athletics, It is a promising fact that many students participated in the regular athletic activities, but the extra-curricular activities out side of regular school athletic activities require some concerns and advices from the physical leaders concerned.
      4. Even though most of the students considered the physical training highly valuable, not a few students gave indifferent responses, some of them were even negative. These facts need some more introspections of the physical leaders concerned.
      5. About the amount of students' physical training classes, most of them considered that the present classes were adequate. But we can not regret that some of the students wanted the more classes. The teachers concerned should give their students the higher qualities of instructions than ever.
      6. All of the students wanted to have some regular school athletics as the extra-cuiricular activities. But various factors prevented the students getting them mostly through lack of adequate facilies. The authories concerned as well as the physical leaders should give some actions to these problems.
      7. Besides, the students gave various kinds of extra suggestions on physical training activities. For these suggestions we should promote the qualities of the instructions, and do our utmost to furnish them the adequate environments for the athletic activities.
