CBI의 動向과 國內 開發展望 = (The) Trend of CBI and Furture Development in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The computer, the state of the art product of modern science and technology, has expanded its influence to all aspects of the human existence. Now its use has been universally inculcated, and it seems that almost no work can be done without its help.
The field of education is no exception in the use of computers, because the advent of the age of information gives rise to the need of the human-computer interface for effective education. Accordingly, the presence of computers becomes visible in educational institutes of all levels.
One of the promising areas of computer application comes from the need of individualization of classrooms, which was incurred by the gaps present between advanced students and less advanced ones in one class. With the help of computer-aided instruction we can solve this century-old difficulty of mass education. And accordingly, the need of studies on CAI and the development of CAI programs seems to be increasing as well as promising.
This paper gives an overview on the state of the art of CBI development in terms of education policy as well as the develpment of CAI programs. It analyzes difficulties toward the development of CAI, and presents suggestion on the direction of CAI development.
