지역아동센터 아동의 이용만족도가 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 = A Study on the Elderly's Leisure Program Participation Needs and Satisfaction

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역아동센터 이용아동의 이용만족도가 자아존중감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 고찰하기 위해 경상북도에 소재한 14개 시․군 지역의 24개 지역아동센터 초등학교 4학년부터 중학교 3학년까지 274명을 대상으로 조사 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에서 이용만족도는 여학생이 남자학생보다 미세하게 높게 나타났고 초등학생이 중학생보다 물리적 환경 요인과 프로그램 환경 요인에 영향을 더 받는 것으로 나타났으나 중학생은 초등학생에 비해 교사 환경 요인과 또래 환경 요인에서 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 저학년일수록 흥미유발 요인에 민감한 반면 중학생은 또래 집단이나 교사와의 관계 형성에 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 본다.
지역아동센터 이용기간은 5년 이상이 가장 많았으며 초등학교부터 중학교까지 장기간 이용하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 이용기간이 길수록 만족도도 높게 조사되었다. 가정경제 상태에서는 넉넉하다고 느낄수록 이용만족도가 높게 나타났고 교사의 존경심이 높을수록 이용만족도도 높게 나타났다. 이는 지역아동센터가 단순한 이용공간이 아닌 건전한 아동․청소년기의 인격체 형성을 위한 필요 시설로 이를 위한 초등학교와 중학교의 체계적이고 전문적인 연계 프로그램 개발과 교사의 전문적 자질이 향상되어야 한다.
둘째, 이용만족도와 자아존중감의 상관관계 분석을 실시한 결과 물리적 환경 요인인 일반적, 학업적, 사회적, 가정적 자아존중감에서 상관성을 보이고 있다, 이는 지역아동센터내의 물리적 환경요인이 자아존중감에 많은 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 프로그램 환경에서는 학교 교과학습보다 문화․체험학습이나 집단캠프 등에서 높은 상관성을 나타내고 있다. 교사 환경요인에서 교사는 이용아동의 자아존중감 형성에 중요한 역할로 조사되었다. 이는 이용아동의 개별적 특성에 따른 욕구에 충족 할 수 있는 교사의 역량 강화가 더욱 절실한 부분이며. 또래 환경요인에서는 또래 집단의 자아존중감에 영향을 미침으로 센터 안에서 원만한 또래 관계 형성 과 정서적으로 편안함을 느낄 수 있는 안락한 공간을 위한 지속적인 노력이 필요하다.
셋째, 이용만족도가 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석 한 결과는 물리적 환경요인에서 지역아동센터 아동의 안전한 보호를 위한 소방안전시설 및 구급약품등 안전장치들이 충분히 갖추어져 있다 에서 유의미함을 보이는데 이는 이용아동이 지역아동센터가 유해환경으로부터 안전하다고 느낄수록 자아존중감이 높다는 것으로 나타났다. 이 외의 하위요인인 공간의 충분함, 놀이기구나 학습도구의 충분하다 에서 센터의 시설에서는 영향을 크게 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지역아동센터의 열악한 환경이 학습도구의 부족, 시설공간의 불충분함으로 편안하게 이용할 수 있는 시설 공간의 부족함을 들 수 있으며, 아동이 센터에서 안전하게 보호 받고 있다는 느낌을 가질 수 있는 안락한 공간제공이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this treatise is to study the effect of the use satisfaction of children using local children center on the children's self esteem. Research target area is 24 local children centers in 14 cities and guns in Kyungpook area, and target people are 274 children from 4grade of elementary school to nine grade of middle school. The results of research are as followings.
First, use satisfaction of female in demographic social factors is higher than that of male, and elementary students are more affected than middle students in physical environmental factors and program environmental factors. This fact shows us that while the lower students are more sensitive to interesting factors, middle students are affected by the relation of peer group and teacher.
The using period of local children center is above 5year highest, they have been using it for long time from elementary school to middle school, the longer the more satisfied, the richer in economic condition the higher the use satisfaction, the higher the respect of their teacher, the more satisfied. This fact means that local children center is the place to form sound adolescence and characteristics, not the place for simple play. Therefore local children center should develop systematic and professional link program and need the education for teacher who can increase the professional quality.
Second, as a result of the correlation of children's use satisfaction and the children's self esteem, it shows us the correlation of children's use satisfaction and the children's self esteem in general, educational, social, family self-esteem in physical environmental factors. This fact shows us that the physical environmental factors affect children's self esteem. the reason is as following.
In program environment it has cultural, emotional program and secure guard rather than program linked with school education. In teacher environmental factors because teacher can play a role in forming self-esteem of children using it, we should strengthen his ability to meet their needs according to the individual characteristics of children. In peer group environment because peer group affects self-esteem of children, it is needed to form amicable peer relations. We must make local children centers comfortable like their home for children to play in comfort.
Third, as a result of the regression of children's use satisfaction and the children's self esteem, being prepared for security in physical environmental factors is meaningful. This fact shows us that the more the children centers felt secure from harmful environmental, the higher their self-esteem.
Besides, space-sufficiency, sufficiency of play instrument and learning instrument, and center facilities don't affect their self-esteem, which means that the shortage of learning instrument, the shortage of facilities space in center are the shortage of facilities to use comfortably because of inadequate environment factors in local children center.
