    End-to-End(E2E) autonomous driving systems have recently emerged as a significant research trend to overcome the limitations of conventional modular architectures. The research on E2E autonomous driving systems involves experimental environments and evaluation methods, all of which play a crucial role in determining the overall performance of an algorithm. Therefore, it is important to establish appropriate environments and evaluation methods that can accurately reflect real-world performance. This study analyzed recent trends, and proposed the future directions of E2E autonomous driving systems. To achieve this, datasets, simulators, and worldmodels are examined in experimental environments, while evaluation metrics are discussed in developing suitable evaluation methods.
