문병란의 초기 시세계 연구 = Moon Byung-Ran’s Early Poetry of the World

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The subject of this study is poetry from Moon Byung-ran’s first collection, 󰡔Moon Byung-ran’s poetry󰡕, to the fourth, 󰡔Whispers of rice󰡕, to identify the correlation between the criticism of poems and the poetry system in the 󰡔History of kerosene lamp󰡕 and criticism of poems 󰡔Crazy blue sky󰡕. They were chosen because they are early poems by Moon Byung-ran and distinct from the poetry system written after the Gwangju uprising in 1980. It is because analysis of the criticism of poems which he asserted in his early work, containing resistance to the Revitalizing Reforms system, is needed to examine the consistency of the criticism of poems and the poetry system.
Moon Byung-ran, a poet, debuted by receiving his recommendation from Kim Hyun-seung in 1959 while studying at the Chosun University and, except for a few poems from his formative years, cannot be easily removed from the history of poetry itself. This paper confirmed that the lives of the people and the perseverance of the peasants have been symbolized through the easy language represented as the people’s poetry that challenged the times and the peasant poetry, the most beautiful challenge of life. It also revealed that, from the earliest days of his debut, he tried to defend his conscience as a poet, which led him to write about the poor lives of peasants.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

문병란의 초기 시세계를 밝히고자 한 이 논문은 4권의 시집과 두 권의 산문집을 토대로 분석하였다. 문병란 유신체제에 대한 저항으로 일관하였던 시인으로 조선대학교 재학 중인 1959년에 김현승의 추천을 받아 등단하였는데 그의 시는 역사와 분리하여 논할 수 없는 작품들이다. 여기서는 크게 시대에 의식적으로 도전했던 민중시와 농촌현실을 사실적으로 고발한 농민시로 대별하여 살펴보았다. 문병란의 초기 시세계는 쉬운 언어로 민중들과 농민들의 강인성을 형상화 내는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 그것은 등단 초기부터 시인으로서 지키고자 했던 양심에 기인한 것이며, 또한 시인이란 어떤 존재인가의 물음에 대한 응답이기도 했다. 그에 따라 그는 민중들의 삶에 천착하여 농민들의 피폐한 삶을 형상화한 시세계를 구축하였다.
