노오(能)이론의 체계화와 제아미(世阿彌) = An Essay on Zeami´s Theorizing Noh

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Zeami is a brilliant actor, wright, and critic who established Noh as a classic theatrical art. Zeami not only created famous masterpieces of Noh but also wrote about many "critical writings of Noh(能樂論)".These are theorizing on his experience and teaching of formers especially Kanami. He created his writings to convey the art of Noh and tradition to the descendants especially his own inheritances. Besides, the competition between Zeami and his rivals were extremely strong. Therefore, he needed to promote the quality of Noh to get more spectators. This reason made Zeami to continue his works.His works dealt with several kinds of method to create Noh, such as performance, acting and song. Searching for Hana(花) is the main artistic theory among his writings. For example, "HUSHIKADEN(風姿花傳)" is the best known of his writings in which he said Hana is most important in Noh. The attraction of Noh is Hana which transmits the new impression to spectators.But we can not exactly say that his works(critical writings of Noh) could influence on Noh performers at that time. There is only a group of Noh performers mainly Zeami`s inheritances who could see his works. We can rather say that many Noh performers can have been seeing his writings in order to the advance of Noh research since 1950.
