북한 훈민정음 연구의 성과와 전망 : 해방 직후부터 2000년대까지의 연구 성과를 중심으로 = Hunminjeongeum Research Achievements and Prospects in North Korea - Focusing on Hunminjeongeum Research from the time of liberation to the 2000s

This paper is an empirical report on the results of the Hunminjeongeum research conducted in North Korea from the time of liberation to the 2000s. In particular, there is a lack of a holistic approach to North Korea's study of Hunminjeongeum from a historical point of view. According to the results of the Hunminjeongeum research, the age was distinguished and the characteristics of each age were derived.
In this paper, we can see the time of birth of North Korea's Hunminjeongeum Study (1945~1948), the development of the North Korean Hunminjeonggeum Study (1949~1966), the stagnation period of the North Korean Hunminjeonggeum study (1967~ 1981), the resurrection and popular proliferation of North Korea's Hunminjeongeum Study (1982~1995), and the arrangement of the North Korea’s Hunminjeongeum Study(1996~2006). The research were divided into five periods.
The study of the Hunminjeongeum in North Korea was the beginning of the Hunminjeongjeon study with the translation of the original text < Hunminjeongeum > and the translation of the text into the Korean.After that, research on Hunminjeongeum was conducted in connection with the history of Korean, and on the other hand, the trend of understanding and studying Hunminjeongeum from the viewpoint of the history of Korean linguistics was also revealed. In addition, Hunminjeongum was studied from the point of view of the studies of characters. I hope that this achievement will be shared with South Korea's Hunminjeongeum research results in the future and contribute to Korean studies.
