The aim of this study is to establish new direction as a guideling of the rural house planning by analysis in detail for the present circumstances, special problems, and its tremds of the rural household, the population and family composition, size of the rural house, trend of usage, plan and block layout site condition of rural community, relationship between size of community and cultivated land, usage of facilites and formation of community.
The abstract of the important contents of this study and results by the chapters are as follows :
1. The rural household, the population, and the family composition are the main basic factors in determining the size of dwelling unit of community generally, the analyical studies and inrestigation on our present situations and their changeabilitis were presented.
2. The tred of usage in rural house for the act of living such as sleeping dining, living and house working and the difference in the area composion between the urban house and rual house were cledrly defined and the necessary number of bed rooms by the type of family were studied for their culculation.
3. This chapter was intended to define the speciaty and the relation ship by each type of rual house. For this purpose the several patterns were studied for the building layout, the relationship between the living space and working spaces and classitications of the type of the house plan by their type of composition.
