중학생의 내현적 자기애와 분노반추가 공격성에 미치는 영향 = Effect of covert narcissism and anger rumination on aggression of middle school students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of covert narcissism and anger rumination on aggression, and to investigate mediating role of anger rumination between covert narcissism and aggression. The data of this study was collected from 641 middle school students in Busan. In order to measure each variable, Covert Narcissism Scale(CNS), K-Anger Rumination Scale(K-ARS), Peer Conflict Scale(PCS) were used. For statistical analyses, correlation analysis, Pearson Correlaions and Multiple Regression were employed. And Baron and Kenny's(1986) model was calculated to investigate mediator effect. The results of the study are as follows.
First, covert narcissism was positively correlated to aggression and both overt and relational subtypes of aggression. And anger rumination was positively correlated to aggression and both overt and relational subtypes of aggression. Also, covert narcissism was positive correlated to anger rumination. Second, covert narcissism and anger rumination have effect on aggression and both overt and relational subtypes of aggression. Third, anger rumination partially mediated the relations between covert narcissism and aggression. Also, anger rumination was partially mediated the relation between covert narcissism and both overt and relational subtypes of aggression.
Practical implications of these results were discussed and suggestions for further research were offered.
