The effects of Al additions and heat treatment on the magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets were studied. As the Al content was increased, remanence was reduced and coercivity was increased. Also, as these sintered mangets were heat treated at 600℃, remanence(B_r) and intrinsic coercivity(_iH_c) were increased. In spite of coercivity was increased by the Al addition, maximum energy product(BH)_max was reduced. the highest energy product of 27.9MGOe was obtained in the Nd_15Fe_77B_8 magnet which was heat treated at 600℃.
