It is very worthy experience for both retarded and non-retarded children not to be separated but tathet be together in the same room. It is urgent to develop a comprehensive program which is interesting and naturally attractive for children to participate in. This can be effective for social and emotional cure of children. To increase this effectiveness, we have developed group art-therapy for retarded and non-retarded children Let`s play together, friends! The main purpose of this study IS to develop an art-therapy program that can allow retarded and non-retarded children to participate together and actively be involved, which gives emotional and social assistance. Through this program for non-retarded children, this study suggests a structured education program of Improving perception of the retarded children, and educating both the parents of retarded and non-retarded children can increase the level of understanding and trust in art-therapy, This art-therapy program helps parents to be relaxed emotionally and to understand children better which results in reducing the stress level as they raise children. This program is structured art-therapy for retarded and non-retarded children, and should be adaptable for children in various situations and various age groups. This program has been presented concretely. Therefore, it IS expected that this program can be used by not only professional art-therapists but also by others in school counseling or general counseling.
