부모의 문제음주가 청소년자녀의 적응에 미치는 영향-자존감의 조절효과를 중심으로- = A study on affection of children of alcoholics on their adjustment to society & their character- with special reference to Moderating Effects of self-esteem -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 부모의 문제음주와 자녀의 적응간의 관계에서 자존감의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이러한 연구는 부모가 문제음주이지만 그들이 잘 적응할 수 있는 보호요인을 확인하여 적응을 향상시키기 위한 개입을 확대할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 17세에서 19세 사이의 고등학교 학생 374명을 연구의 대상으로 하였고 연구문제의 검증을 위해 SPSS/WIN 14.0 프로그램을 활용하여 이원변량분석(two-way ANOVA)을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, COAs의 내면화 문제에는 부모의 문제음주와 자존감이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으나 두 변수간 상호작용 효과는 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, COAs의 외현화 문제에는 부모의 문제음주와 자존감이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었고 두 변수간 상호작용효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 즉 자존감이 높은 집단은 부모가 문제음주이더라도 외현화 문제가 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 연구결과를 토대로 COAs의 적응을 촉진하기 위한 방안을 모색하였고, 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to confirm the moderating effects of self-esteem on the relationship between parents problem drinking and adaptation. It persists children of alcoholics and their negative adjustment comes by only parent's side, however, on the contrary I tried to find another factor that affects positive con-sequences based on COAs adjustment.Participants in this study are 374 high school adolescents at the age 14 and 19 and two-way ANOVA on the platform of SPSS/Win 14.0. The result of this study are as follow : Frist, it was proved parents problem drinking and self-esteem affect is negative in internal adaptation, and it is not proved that female adolescents' self-esteem exerted as moderating variable. Second, it was proved parents problem drinking and self-esteem affect is negative in external adapta-tion, and it was proved that female adolescents' self-esteem exerted as moderating variable. That is, those with low self-esteem experienced high parents problem drinking and much external adap-tation, and those with high self-esteem experienced low parents problem drinking and less external adaptation. Therefore, in order to help adolescents to cope with their parents problem drinking, various in-tervention strategies are required in terms of improving their self-esteem. It is lead to help adolescent to adaptation.
