한국의 소득이동: 현황과 특징

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 한국노동패널 자료를 이용하여 1997년~2006년 우리나라의
소득이동에 대하여 살펴보았다. 다양한 측정방법에 의하여 우리나라의 소득
이동에 대하여 살펴본 결과 다음의 특징을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 우리나라
의 소득이동 수준은 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 우리나라의 소득이동
정도는 점차 낮아지고 있다. 셋째, 소득균등화에 기여하는 소득이동의 영향은
매우 높은 것을 확인할 수 있으나 그 효과는 시간이 경과함에 따라 급속히
감소하고 있다. 넷째, 소득이동의 효과와 관련하여 저소득층에 유리한 친저소
득형 성장(pro-poor growth)에 따른 분배개선 효과도 존재하였으나 순위변화
(re-ranking)의 효과가 이를 압도하여 횡단면 소득분배가 악화된 것을 확인하
