동학정치사상과 甲午東學農民運動 = 한국민족주의의 民衆化

국문 초록 (Abstract)

동학은 〈人乃天〉 평등사상을 기초로 이념과 조직을 제공함으로써 조선조 농민운동에 에너지를 부여했으며 운동의 진전과정에서 그 사상을 구체화, 체계화 하였다. 특히 집강소체제 하에서는 통치의 주체로서 스스로 인식한 과제를 전개하여 그 정치적 가능성을 현실화 시켜주었다는 의미가 있다. 동학정치사상에 의해 한국민족주의는 민중에 의한 민족주의운동의 역사가 전개되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Tonghak(Eastern Learning) started in the 1860s with the ideas of 'building up the nation and providing the people welfare, conformity of heaven and man'. The Tonghak' stance had later taken the forms of national independence in the face of foreign encroachment and equality amongst people of all social classes. Tonghak ideology and organization had been further developed by combining Korean nationalism with the peasant rebellions.
It was sufficiently noticed that modem Korean nationalism had developed with popularization by the Tonghak peasant movement.
