ChatGPT의 교육적 활용에 대한 초등교사 인식 및 교육 요구도 분석 = Analyzing Perceptions and Educational Needs of Elementary School Teachers for Using ChatGPT in Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the interest in ChatGPT increases, the possibility of its educational use is being actively explored. This study was to examine teachers' perception of the educational use of ChatGPT in elementary education comprehensively. Also, it was to identify the elements that should be considered first through an analysis of educational needs. 143 elementary school teachers participated, and data were collected through a survey and analyzed using various statistical techniques. The main findings of the study indicate that while the experience of using ChatGPT was high, the experience of using it for educational purposes was rather low, and it was confirmed that ChatGPT could increase the parts of anxieties. The role of AI in ChatGPT-based education revealed that it can serve as a customized learning guide and so on. The obstacles identified include teachers' AI capabilities and workload, the possibility of exposure to various problems such as personal information leakage, and the inaccuracy of provided information. As a result of the analysis of educational needs, it was confirmed that artificial intelligence ethics, educational utilization method, class environment establishment, and technical support for educational utilization need to be considered first. Efforts to foster positive epistemological beliefs regarding the educational use of ChatGPT are necessary, and training programs for elementary school teachers need to be developed based on the research results.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

ChatGPT의 관심이 증가함에 따라 교육적 활용 가능성에 대한 모색이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등교육에서 교사의 ChatGPT 교육적 활용에 대한 인식을 종합적인 측면에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한, 교육 요구도 분석을 통해 우선적으로 고려해야 하는 요소가 무엇인지 확인하였다. 초등교사 143명이 참여하였으며 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하여 다양한 통계적 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과, ChatGPT를 사용한 경험은 높게 나타났지만 교육적으로 활용 경험은 다소 낮은 수준으로 나타났으며, ChatGPT는 불안의 일부 요소를 증가시킬 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. ChatGPT 활용 교육에서 인공지능은 맞춤형 학습안내자 등의 역할을 수행할 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 저해요소로는 교사의 인공지능 역량 및 업무 부담, 개인정보 유출 등 각종 범죄 노출 가능성, 제공된 정보의 부정확성 등으로 나타났다. 요구도 분석 결과 인공지능 윤리, 교육적 활용 방법, 수업 환경 구축, 교육적 활용에 대한 기술적 지원을 우선적으로 고려할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. ChatGPT의 교육적 활용을 위한 긍정적인 인식론적 신념을 지닐 수 있는 노력이 필요하며, 연구결과를 바탕으로 초등교사를 위한 연수 프로그램이 개발될 필요가 있다.
