접촉지대(Contact zone)에서의 갈등과 협상: 이주가정자녀교육기관 교사들의 상호작용을 중심으로 = Conflicts and negotiations in a Contact Zone: Focusing on interaction between Korean and migrants teachers in a school for migrants

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyse the conflicts and negotiations between Korean and migrants teachers in A school as a Contact zone by interpretative paradigm. Contact zone is a space to get an information for life in Korea and a passage to understand the Korean society for immigrants. Meanwhile, for Koreans, it is a core social space to constitute attitude against migrants consciously and unconsciously by direct and indirect contact. Therefore NGO for migrants as a contact zone play a role to interconnect indigenous people and migrants as a node. A school is a contact zone for education of immigrants children in which Korean and immigrants teachers conflict and negotiate their different educational philosophy and style. This paper discussed how they negotiate their differences and how theses conflicts and negotiation revealed in their educational practices in A school.
