This paper aims to examine < Sassinamjeonggi >'s writer's consciousness. Both Sassi and Kyossi become excess in the family. However, two of the reaction is completely different. Sassi was patient with her life. Kyossi continues to plot and actively protest.
In < Sassinamjeonggi >, good and evil is determined by the acceptance of this life. A man who holds up is a good man, A man who protested is defined as the wicked. Here the artist consciousness is revealed. The writer considered women's choices more important than the contradictions of patriarchy.
This aspect is emphasized once more through Imssi. Imssi is a concubine like Kyossi. Nevertheless, Imssi lives at Ussi's house in peace. Because he acknowledged his life as his concubine.
