여성 지식인 소설 연구 = A Study of Feminist Intellectuals Novel -Based on Park Hwa Sung's nowel, "Bookgookey Yeomyoung"-

Park Hwa Sung is one of the prominent feminist nowelist who deals with topics on society and realith. Especially, in her biographical nowel, "Bookgookey Yeomyoung", she focuses on how women forms relations with the society as intellectuals. By emphasizing woman not as a 'victimized women' or a 'new woman' but as a 'leading woman' and 'modem woman', Park Hwa Sung clearly depicts the facets of a intellectual woman. However, as patriarchal or animus aspects of woman are still revealed in the novel,"Bookgookeu Yeomyoung", this novel appears to have certain limitations as a feminist novel. Through this novel the bilateral characteristic of the 1930s feminist intellectuals can be examined by the 'ideal' of a intellectual and 'reality' of a woman.
