Dielectric and piezoelectric of the 0.04Pb(Y1/2Ta1/2)O3-0.96Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 ceramics modified with Fe2O3 have been investigated. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the base composition were imporved markedly through selection of Fe2O3 additives in proper amounts. The composition 0.04Pb(Y1/2Ta1/2)O3-0.96Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 obtained the dielectric constant(Er=1,425). Also, electromechanical coupling factors for planar(kp) and piezoelectric constant(d33) were obtained 0.50 and 294[pC/N] at the additives 0wt% Fe2O3, respectively. The mechanical quality factor(Qm) of 0.04Pb(Y1/2Ta1/2)O3-0.96Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 + fe2O3(0.3wt%) is about 510.
