다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
We inquired about children`s aptitude on the astronomical objects and phenomena. The fields were classified into following seven topics,(1) The shape and history of the Earth, (2) Rotation of the Earth, (3) Revolution of the Earth, (4) Sun, (5) Moon, (6) Stars, and (7) Universe. We made the questionnaires which based on the topics. We invested the children`s interests in the objects using the questionnaires. The distributions of children` curiosity to the area depend on the age and grade in elementary school. According to the analysis, we found the tendency that children gradually acquire the concept of the astronomical phenomena through a series of distinct levels. Additionally, this study has shown that the children in sixth grade are interested in their theories and principles rather than the astronomical phenomena.
