The Purpose of this study is what Core stabilization exercise and Resistive exercise effect chronic low back pain on body composition, the center of gravity, and visual analogue scale. For this, subject was divided 23 chronicity lumbago patients into 3 groups; 8 in balanced exercise group, 8 in resistive exercise, 7 in balanced & resistive exercise, and they have been evaluated for the body composition, the center of gravity, and visual analogue scale for 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and before that.
Balanced exercise Program was performed 3 times in 6 weeks with various balance tool, hold every motion for 15 minutes in totally 13 exercises, did one set for one time and increased number of set slowly. Progressive resistance exercise program was performed with PRE machine to increase lumbar muscle, which has 3times a week, 1RM 40-80 strength and 18-20 times for once. Balanced & Progressive resistance exercise was performed with 4 in balanced exercise Program and 4 in progressive resistance exercise program.
Items were organized with the body composition, the center of gravity, and visual analogue scale, and calculate the average per group and standard deviation with SPSS Ver. 12.0 statistical program. To analysis significant differences in type and period of program for the body composition, the center of gravity, and visual analogue scale, 2-way repeated ANOVA was used. If they have interaction between period and group, performed one-way ANOVA and Tukey for each group in the same period and Contrast test for each period in the same group to verify, This was regarded with the significant level of 5%. In this, next the same result was gathered.
First, there is no significant differences of weight and fat mass in three group, balance group had significant decrease of %body fat, complex group didn't have statistical decrease but it has significant decrease.
Second, there is no significant differences of CLR, MPF, HFLR, HFPF in changes of the center of gravity, but after 3 weeks balance group had a little bit improved the center of gravity in CLR, HFPF. After 6 weeks, weight group and complex group had improved the center of gravity in MPF, HFLR.
Third, in changes of visual analogue scale, complex group is most effective ,because it was significantly lower than any other group in back pain, exercise pain, stiffness, walking discomfort, standing still pain, twisting pain, handicap, work interference, work modification.
To Conclude, as complex exercise program for 6 weeks increase reduction of %body fat, balance of the center of gravity, and reduction of pain, it is effective for chronicity lumbago patients, and I think development and supply of exercise program is needed for chronicity lumbago patients.
