지역학 수업에서의 혁신교수법 적용에 관한 경험적 연구 : <베트남학입문> 사례를 중심으로 = Applying Innovative Teaching Methods in Area Studies : The Case of Introduction to Vietnamese Studies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 혁신교수법을 적용하여 운영한 지역학 수업, 구체적으로는 <베트남학입문> 교과목 사례를 소개하고, 해당 수업에 참여한 학습자 12명과의 면담 자료를 근거이론에 기반해 분석했다. 총 52개의 개념과 18개의 하위 범주를 도출하고 이를 6개의 상위 범주로 통합한 뒤, ‘혁신교수법을 통한 학습 성과’라는 패러다임 모형을 제시했다. 본 연구는 학습 성과를 ‘연결형’, ‘도전형’, ‘기본 충실형’의 세 가지 유형으로 구분하여 능동적이고 실천적인 탐색 학습자로의 전환을 위한 방안을 제시하고, 교육 현장에 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 도출하였다. ‘연결형’ 학습자들은 언어 학습에 대한 흥미 저하를 사회적 이슈나 다전공 분야와 연결함으로써 학습 동기를 강화했다. ‘도전형’ 학습자들은 현지어 자료를 탐색하고 현지인과 직접 교류하는 과정에서 정보 수집과 분석, 문제해결 과정을 능동적으로 수행했다. ‘기본 충실형’ 학습자들은 혁신교수법을 적용한 구조화된 학습 환경에서 언어 학습에 대한 만족과 몰입을 경험하며 베트남어 학습의 중요성을 인식했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study presents a case of the regional studies course Introduction to Vietnamese Studies, designed using innovative teaching methods. Data from interviews with 12 students were analyzed, leading to the identification of 52 concepts and 18 subcategories, which were then grouped into 6 overarching categories. From this, a paradigm model called Learning Outcomes through Innovative Teaching Methods was proposed. The study classifies learning outcomes into three types: "connection-oriented," "challenge-oriented," and "foundation-oriented." It suggests strategies to support the transformation of learners into active, exploratory participants. "Connection-oriented" learners regained motivation by linking language learning to social issues or interdisciplinary interests. "Challenge-oriented" learners actively engaged in data collection, analysis, and problem-solving through exploring native materials and interacting with locals. "Foundation-oriented" learners experienced satisfaction and immersion within a structured learning environment, recognizing the importance of Vietnamese language acquisition.
