    This examines the organization, characteristics, and international solidarity of theYeongdeungpo Industrial Mission in the 1960s and 1970s, which had receivedinsufficient academic attention until now. The results of this research aresummarized as follows.
    First, the organization and characteristics of Yeongdeungpo Industrial Mission areas follows; First, the national evangelization movement in 1965 and the nationalevangelization movement in 1973 became a crucial background for the organizationand development of the Yeongdeungpo Industrial Mission, and second, the target ofthe project was an organization centered on women workers. In addition, in termsof international relations with the Yeongdeungpo Industrial Mission, it was thanksto the efforts of the United Presbyterian Church of the United States that theYeongdeungpo Industrial Mission was able to receive exchanges and financialsupport with the WCC, the EACC (CCA), and churches of overseas countries. TheUnited Presbyterian Church of the United States recommended that Jisong Cho, aworking pastor at the Yeongdeungpo Industrial Mission Society, about his overseasstudy. It supported his work financially, providing maximum support to enableinternational relations. After the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church ofKorea withdrew from membership in the WCC, international exchanges took placethrough the United Presbyterian Church of the United States, Southern PresbyterianChurches in the USA, and the Australian Presbyterian Church, which were affiliatedwith the cooperative division under the Presbyterian Church of Korea. The supportof these three missions to the Yeongdeungpo Industrial Mission was closely relatedto the Korean evangelization movement. In 1969, the General Assembly of thePresbyterian Church of Korea decided to join the WCC. Then, YeongdeungpoIndustrial Mission continually received financial support from the WCC, the EACC, and churches in many foreign countries. Foreign aid ranged from a minimum of 19percent to a maximum of 55 percent from 1968 to 1979. It shows that the supportand exchanges between the WCC, the EACC, and churches from overseas were forthe solidarity of the global anti-communist united front.
