Ⅰ. Motive and Object
In the physical exercise lesson to classes whose students are of wide individual difference in terns of height, weight, physical strength, nutrition, and so on, the following purpose was set up tried out.
(1) To find out a way that the majority students can achieve the extreme learning efficiency.
(2) To have more interested in physical exercise lesson with satisfaction of learning achievement, and the students were to reduce their frustration caused by the failure in the study
Ⅱ. Method
Both the comparative and demonstration class were given four hour lessons of broad jump according to the ordinary annual study plan and by the mastery learning model respectively. After class, the critical evaluation of the class work achievement of eash class was made, and then the achievements of both classes were compared with eah other. And through the questionnaires the response of the students to the lessons was surveyed and analyzed.
Ⅲ. Conclusion
(1) It is to be said safely that the majority student can achieve the extreme learning efficiency through a mastery of learning of the lesson of physical exercise without regard to their individual difference. This conclusion comes from the large difference of the achievement of the mastery learning between the demonstration and the comparative class(75%-43.5%=31.5%)
(2) It is considered that the setting up of the aim of the class work achievement in a concrete from as possible or, if possible, in figures of it help greatly for the students to achieve the extreme learning efficiency.
(3) There was a feeling of amity and encouragement reaction from the students participated this programme. The method of this lesson didn't ignore the purpose this programme, which was deigned to find out a way of the extreme learning efficiency through the principle of the mastery of learning in physical education.
