한국교회 갱신을 위한 기독교학교의 가능성과 그 전망

The purpose of this article is to investigate the feasibility and necessity of Christian schools in Korea. Establishing Christian schools are considered as a way of overcoming the decrease of church growth and a strategy to cope with the crisis of Korean school education. Korean churches have been declining since the 1980s, that they need a new evangelization policy. Failure and crisis in Korean school education, so called the collapse of classroom and school in the 19905, urgently require an alternative school model. This study claimed that to get over with church stagnation, Christian leadership should be nurtured for the younger generation by establishing a Christian school, and to deal with school crisis, Christian schools should become an example for Korean secular schools. Therefore, it suggested that the responsibility of Korean church in the 21st century is to build genuine Christian schools.
