The purpose of this research is find the necessity of connection between Kindergarten education and elementary education, understanding of mutual-education, problem and solution of connected education.
For this reason, this research discuss concept of preschool education and elementary, human development, educational thought side .
In conceptual side, this research can find common educational philosophy comparing concept of preschool education with concept of elementary education. That is educational object is children. The educational purpose that is to develop whole-person ingredient of educational,
In developmental side, this research confirms separately with cognitive, linguistic, psychological·social, morality, physical development.
In idealogical side, pedagogists such as Steiner, Dewey, Frobel, and Montessori claim continuity of growth and development. They also claim that education is not segmented but connected in integratively.
As a result connection between preschool and elementary education must be realized.
At the conclusion, by examining the problems associated with the actual situation of connection education. And harmonized connection must be linked to promote continuous growth and development while preserving individual characteristics of kindergarten and elementary school as a basic ingredient that should be reflected in connected practice.
