기독교대학의 이념교육 방향성 연구 -삼육대학교의 인성교육 사례를 중심으로- = A Study on the Plan for Ideological Education of Christian University -A Case of the Character Education at Sahmyook University-

This Study is to propose some strategies for the efficient Character Education based on the survey of the Character Education Sahmyook University students. Actually, most members of the university have thought that the character education through religious education had some negative roles for the image of the university. As we have studied about the consciousness of students through the overall survey, however, we could find the fact that it is not true. They did less negative about the contents of character education in the result of this survey. In particular, this survey shows us to draw up satisfying sense of the contents through the efforts to improve. In this survey, the satisfying sense of the five contents of character education, such as Chapel, Liberal Bible education, Prayer week, Open Worship on Saturday, Sabbath School and Small group, present to positive. In the case of the higher level students, the satisfying sense and understanding mind are more higher than the lower level students. That means the educational effectiveness operates properly in the University. This study proposes five strategies for the character education of Christian University based on the survey of the character education. Those strategies are as follows; 1.Appropriate instructor liaison, 2.Efficient development of the text books, 3.Improve relations between lecturer and student through the counselling and meeting, 4.Improvement of participation of students, 5.Development for the joint programs with students. This survey has some limitations in the case of the crosstabs between the various comparison groups. It`s because of a limitation of pages of this paper. I hope the study continue to do in the other studies after that. In addition, it is necessary to be studied of the character education policy through a comparative study between the efficiency and satisfying sense of the character education.
