국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 구한말 13도의군도총재 류인석(1842~1915)의 의병이미지를 제고하고, 이를 선양하기 위한 스토리텔링과 문화콘텐츠의 발굴 및 활용에 그 목적을 두었다.
지금까지 의병들에 대한 수많은 연구와 선양사업이 진행되었고, 현재도 진행되고 있어 바람직하다. 의병선양사업은 나라가 존속하는 한 계속 진행되어야 할 우리의 과제이기도 하다. 이 가운데 13도의군도총재를 맡았던 류인석은 의병사에서 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있다. 그 때문에 류인석 관련 연구논저가 수백 편에 이르고, 그를 중심으로 여러 곳에서 선양사업이 진행되고 있다.
그런데 문제는 류인석의 삶을 꿰뚫는 중심어를 찾지 못한 것이다. 그 때문에 류인석의 선양사업이 ‘의병’이라는 일반적인 개념 속에 묻혔다. 본고에서는 이를 극복하고자 글쓰기방법 신마인드맵과 자원개발법을 활용해서 류인석 삶의 사상적 핵심과 중심어를 찾고자 하였다. 삶의 사상적 핵심은 ‘仁愛心性과 義理實踐’이며, 이를 꿰뚫는 중심어는 ‘貫一約’으로 추출하였다.
이에 중심어 관일약을 바탕으로 관일약에서 주창한 愛國·愛道·愛身·愛人을 개념어로 사용하고, 또 확대어로 존화양이·춘추대의, 강상·인의, 선신·법도, 정대·귀현을 추출했다. 이에 인애심성과 의리실천을 바탕에 깔고, 각각의 개념어와 확대어에 맞게 문화콘텐츠와 스토리텔링을 할 수 있는 제언을 하였다.

This study focused on cultivating storytelling and cultural contents to enhance the patriotic soldier image of Ryu In-seok 1842~1915).There have been many researches and projects for the Patriotic Soldiers which should last forever.
Ryu In-seok stands a prominent place in the history of those patriotic soldiers which explains the existence of hundreds of studies on him and projects for enhancing his images.
But we missed a keyword of his life and proceeded a lot of projects using a routine word “Patriotic Soldier.” This study tries to search for the core idea and keyword of Ryu In-seok’s life through the new mind-map and resource development method of writing.
His core ideas are the mind of Mercy & Love and the practice of Justice and the keyword is “Common Promise.” On the basis of this keyword, there are conceptual words (Love of Country, Righteousness, Body and Human) and associated words.
This study propose to cultivate storytelling and cultural contents according to the conceptual and associated words on the base of the mind of Mercy & Love and the practice of Justice.
