개방형 혁신활동이 신제품 개발성과와 기업성과에 미치는 영향 = The impact of open innovation activities on new product development and business performance

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 개방형 혁신활동을 개념화하고 개방형 혁신활동과 신제품 개발성과 및 기업성과의 관계를 실증적으로 검증하는 것이다. 문헌연구를 통하여 탐색, 협력, 역량을 개방형 혁신활동으로 정의하였으며 관련된 변수의 측정항목을 추출하였다. 14개 업종 제조업체로부터 수집한 300건의 설문조사 자료를 활용하여 확인요인분석, 신뢰성분석, 구조방정식 분석을 통해 연구모형을 검증하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 탐색, 협력, 역량은 개방형 혁신활동으로 적합하며 개방형 혁신활동은 신제품 개발성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 개방형 혁신활동은 기업성과에 직접 또는 신제품 개발성과를 통하여 간접적 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 신제품 개발성과는 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미친다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study are to define and conceptualize the open innovation activities and to examine empirically the causal relationships among the open innovation activities, new product development performance and business performance. The open innovation activities are assorted search, collaboration and capability through comprehensive literature review. Also, measurement items of associated variables were abstracted from existing literatures. Survey-based data for this study was collected from 300 Korea manufacturers in 14 industries, and the measurement scales were tested and validated using confirmatory factor analysis, reliability test and structure equation modeling. The result are as follows. First, search, collaboration and capability are reasonable as the open innovation activities. The open innovation activities have a positive impact on the new product development performance. Second, the open innovation activities have a directly positive impact on the business performance and an indirectly impact through the new production development performance. Finally, the new product development performance has a significant effect on the business performance.
