      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This paper aims to research the current conditions of the music education which is practiced in the music class of the primary, middle and high school, and to set up an available public music education in the future through the ways of improvement in present music textbooks.
      For this, I investigated each field(singing, musical instrument, creation and appreciation), each element(melody, rhythm and harmony) of the music and the contents of the words of the song which are appeared in the music textbooks of the primary, middle and highschool.
      I also examined how the music which is formed by integrated result can be the real part of our daily life and sang in our school or society for a long time with vitality.
      As the results of the investigation, I reached the conclusion that songs learned in school have to be such music that can be sung joyfully, wonderfully and vigorously in the common life of the very our society like the popular songs.
      I think that several conditions have to be prerequisite to achieve those things : First, both singing a song and playing a musical instrument should parallelly be developed by the active and physical response through the alterration of the most of the faeilities for the music textbook. second, We should find out such common beat and rhythm which are close to our feeling and permeated into many people so that the sound and pleasant society should be accomplished in the vital living music.
