유치원 조직의 이완결합 특성과 결합 분석 = A Study on the Characteristics of Loose Coupling and Linkage Analysis in Kindergarten Organizations

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 유치원 조직의 이완결합 특성을 고찰하고, 결합의 양상을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌연구와 서울시내 50개 유치원 180명의 교사에게 질문지를 배부하여 문항별로 빈도, 평균, 표준편차, 등위상관계수 산출을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유치원 조직은 이완결합적 특성을 보유한 조직으로 규정할 수 있었으며, 유치원 조직의 결합은 조직의 내외 요인에 따라 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 결합의 정도가 분야에 따라 달랐으며, 교사는 수업관련부분에, 원장은 운영관리부분에서 영향력이 컸고, 동료교사간의 수평적 결합이 원장과 교사간의 수직적 결합보다 강한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

This study aims to investigate the characteristics of loose coupling in kindergarten organizations and to analyze the degree of linkages and its associated internal(organizational) and environmental factors.
For these purposes, the related literature and previous studies were reviewed to investigate this conceptual model. To collect the research data, 180 teachers got stratified sampling from 50 kindergartens in Seoul. Means, percentage and standard deviation, and Spearman‘s ρ were used to describe the degree of linkages and its associated factors in kindergartens.
The conclusions of this study are as follows:
1. Linkages are important characteristics of kindergarten organizations. A more neutral term, linkage can better capture the variations in kindergarten organizations.
2. The vertical linkages between a kindergarten principal and teachers are loose, but the horizontal linkages among teachers are tight. The degree of linkages varies according to different areas. Particularly concerning the teaching activities, the horizontal linkages are tight, but the vertical linkages are loose.
3. The degree of linkages is both affected by the internal and environmental factors of the kindergarten. A principal‘s leadership patterns with regards to these factors have the greatest effects on the vertical linkages and teachers assertiveness in the horizontal linkages.
The above discussions suggest that linkages are good tools to understand and analyze the characteristics of kindergarten organizations.
