This study aimed to examine the structural relationship among leisure attitude, self-esteem and life satisfaction of active seniors participating in leisure activities. To achieve the objectives of this study, 236 valid questionnaires collected from active seniors attending sports centers as well as community cultural centers in Seoul and Jeonbuk were analyzed. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 18.0. The analyses included frequency, reliability, and correlation analyses, followed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The research findings are as follows. First, leisure attitude positively affected self-esteem. Second, self-esteem positively affected life satisfaction.
Third, leisure attitude positively affected life satisfaction. Fourth, self-esteem partially mediated the relationship between leisure attitude and life satisfaction.
