통제소재와 외상후스트레스 증상의 관계에서 반추의 매개효과 = The Relationship Between Locus of Control and Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms: Rumination as a Mediator

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 외상후스트레스(Post-traumatic stress: PTS) 증상에 영향을 미치는 인지적 기제를 확인하고자 통제소재가 PTS 증상을 예측하는 경로에서 반추의 역할을 살펴보았다. 선행연구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 통제소재(내적통제소재, 외적통제소재)와 반추(침습적 반추, 의도적 반추)의 하위요인을 각각 분석에 고려하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 295명(여성 58%, 남성 42%)을 대상으로 온라인 자기보고식 질문지를 사용하여 통제소재, 반추, PTS 증상을 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 외적통제소재와 PTS 증상의 관계, 내적통제소재와 PTS 증상의 관계 모두에서 침습적 반추의 매개효과는 유의하게 나타났으나 의도적 반추의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 통제소재가 반추를 거쳐 PTS 증상에 영향을 미치는 기제에 대한 이해를 증진하였다는 의의가 있으며, PTS 증상에 대한 개입 표적으로 통제소재와 반추를 고려할 수 있음을 시사한다.
