    The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the participatory motive on the living satisfaction targeting participants in boxing club and to closely examine this. The subjects of this research were set to 181 members who participate in the boxing club where is within the jurisdiction of Gyeonggi Province. As for a research tool, the questionnaire was used that was modified, developed and used by Jeong Yong-gak(1997) and Jeong Seon-a(2006) on the basis of materials in Vallerand et al. (1992)dml SMS-28(sport Motivation Scale) and LIM(Leisure Intrinsic Motivation) in order to measure the participatory motive. As for the living satisfaction, the questionnaire was modified, supplemented and used in line with boxing-club members, which was composed of 5 items, which Lee Jong-gil(1992) and Kim Gil-seop(2007) standardized what was adapted and used The Satisfaction with Life Scale(SMLS), which was developed by Diener, Emmonson, Larson, Griffith(1985). Data processing included frequency analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and post-test. The following are the results, which were elicited after carrying out LSD. First, the significant difference was indicated in non-motive among sub-factors in the participatory motive according to gender. The significant difference was indicated in the internal motive and the non-motive among sub-factors in the participatory motive according to age. As a result of post-test in LSD, the group in their 10s was indicated to be bigger compared to the group in their 20s in the internal motive and external motive. Also, the group in their 30s was indicated to be bigger compared to the group in their 20s in the non-motive. Second, the significant difference was indicated in the living satisfaction according to age. As a result of post-test in LSD, the group in their 10s and 30s was indicated to be bigger than the group in their 20s. Third, the external motive and the non-motive were indicated to have effect on the living satisfaction among sub-factors in the participatory motive.
