베트남의 한국어 교육- 발전 과정과 미래 도전 과제 = Korean Language Education In Vietnam - Development Process And Future Challenges

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study presents the development process of Korean language education in Vietnam over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea in 1992. The study analyzes the factors that have promoted the development of Korean language education, such as the Korean Wave (Hallyu) and the increase in investments from Korean companies in Vietnam. Additionally, the report addresses current achievements, such as the expansion of Korean language departments at universities and the increase in scholarship programs. Particularly, since Korean was approved as the first foreign language by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education, it has become popular in some secondary and high schools. From this, several challenges have emerged, such as the shortage of specialized professors and teachers at universities and high schools, the lack of learning materials, and the necessity to update the curriculum towards diversification and specialization. Finally, the study proposes solutions to improve the quality of education, such as training and developing teaching personnel, strengthening international cooperation, and investing in the development of high-quality learning materials.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 1992년 베트남과 한국 간의 외교 관계 수립 이후 지난 30년간 베트남에서의 한국어 교육 발전 과정을 제시하고 있다. 연구에서는 한류 열풍과 한국 기업들의 베트남 투자 확대와 같은 한국어 교육 발전을 촉진한 주요 요인들을 분석하였다. 또한 대학 내 한국어학과의 확장과 장학금 프로그램의 증가 등 주목할 만한 성과를 강조하였다. 특히 한국어가 베트남 교육부에 의해 제1외국어로 승인된 이후 일부 중고등학교에서 한국어 교육이 점차 보편화되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 급속한 발전 과정에서 전문 교사 및 교수 인력 부족, 학습 자료의 제한, 그리고 교육과정의 다양화 및 전문화 필요성과 같은 여러 과제가 제기되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 연구는 교수 인력의 양성과 개발, 국제 협력 강화, 그리고 고품질 학습 자료 개발에 대한 투자와 같은 실질적인 해결 방안을 제안하고 있다.
