관광단지 조성사업의 추진실태 분석 및 효율성 제고방안 : 인천 용유·무의 관광단지 사례연구 = How to Develop Yongyoo·Mueui Tourism Complex?

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라는 미국, 유럽, 일본 둥의 선진국들과 중국, 브라질, 인도, 그리고 동남아의 개발도상국들 사이에서 선진국 진입과 추격하는 국가들을 떨치기 위해 부단한 노력을 하고 있다. 그런 차원에서 국가적 미래의 성장산업을 육성하고자 2003년 인천을 비롯한 6개 지역의 경제자유구역을 지정 육성하고 있다. 특히 인천경제자유구역(IFEZ)은 국제공항을 가지고 있는 장점을 십분 활용하여 비즈니스·R&D·물류·관광·레저의 4대 허브전략을 구사하며 경제자유구역의 선도지역으로 활기차게 발전하고 있다. 용유·무의관광단지는 인천경제자유구역 (IFEZ)에 포함된 영종지구의 서쪽 지역으로 1993년도 39만평으로 관광단지로 결정된 이후 아직까지도 관광단지 개발이 진행되지 못하고 있는 지역이다. 용유·무의관광단지가 중국·일본·동아시아는 물론 미주 및 유럽에서 까지도 관광을 할 수 있는 세계적 관광단지로의 조속한 개발이 될 수 있게 관광단지 개발에 대한 분석 및 문제점을 연구하여 개선방안을 제시하고자한다. 연구 내용이 부족하기는 하나 진행 중인 용유·무의관광단지의 개발에 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

South Korea has made a lot of efforts to enter the group of developed countries, while the emerging economies like China, Brazil, India and Southeast Asian countries are chasing us. Therefor, Korean government has designated the six areas including Incheon as the free economic zone in 2003 and developed them as the future growth engines of the country.
Especially, the IFEZ, which stands for Incheon Free Economic Zone, established the four 'hub strategy' for business, R&D, logistics and tour and leisure while making the most of its international airport. Since then it has been developed actively as one of the leading free economic zones. Youngyoo and Mueui tourism complex is included in IFEZ in the western part of the Yeongjong district. It was decided as the tourism complex covering 390,000 pyoung in 1993 but since then, its development has made little progress.
I suggest the ways to solve the problems by analyzing them so that this place can be a popular tourism site in the world even Americans and Europeans as well as Chinese, Japanese and Southeast Asians would visit. I hope that the findings of this study could contribute to the development of the place.
