지역8경을 이용한 지역성 분석 -강원도를 사례로- = Analysis of Regional Characteristics Using 8 Scenic Spots in Gangwon ?Do

8 scenic spots disappear with or newly make in response to a variety of environmental conditions, such as social phenomenon and aesthetic consciousness of people who are living in that era. In recent years, many local governments selected to 8 scenic spots with beautiful landscape and excellent cultural and historical resources. They are utilized in various ways 8 scenic spots. The purpose of this study is to analyze the regional characteristics of each region through the analysis of regional 8 scenic spots of 17 city and county in the Gangwon-do. The results are followed: First, cities and counties of 17 selected 8 scenic spots as a means for activating the tourism by promoting effectively the human and natural landscapes in the region. Second, more than half of the 8 scenic spots in the municipality of Gangwon-do are natural landscapes. It is directly reflects the goodness of the natural environment that can be typical locality of Gangwon-do. Third, except for some local governments, efforts to achieve the purpose of the most time chosen is insufficient. 8 scenic spots take advantage of high value as a tourims resources. Therefore, as a symbol to represent the region, it must be sought aggressively scheme to take advantage of 8 scenic spots as a brand and symbol to represent the region. I considered that the sustainable management and attention about the 8 scenic spots of each municipality is the most important than anything.
