목회상담의 협력자로서의 상담역할에 대한 사모의 인식연구 = "A Study on Wives` Role of Counselor as Partners in Church Ministry"

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회의 급격한 변화는 사람들의 전반적인 삶의 다양한 문제들을 만들었고, 갈수록 목회현장에서도 동일한 문제가 심각하게 제기 되고 있다. 문제를 가진 사람이 교회에 모이기에 교회는 이러한 문제를 가진 자들을 치유하는 사역이 절실히 요구 된다. 그러나 현실적으로 이러한 역할을 감당해야하는 목회자는 교회의 많은 다른 사역들로 인해 여러 가지 바쁜 일정에 쫓겨 차분하게 상담을 할 만한 여유를 갖지 못하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 목회상담의 가장 가까이에 있는 사모가 목회자와 동역자, 협력자의 소명을 가지고 이상담사역을 감당할 수 있는 것이 바람직하다고 보았다. 교회적으로도 교회구성원의 절대 다수를 차지하고 있는 여성들은 교회 내의 주요 사역들을 맡아 봉사하고 있다. 이러한 여성도들에게 있어 그들의 문제는 개인의 문제를 넘어서 곧 가정의 전체 문제요, 교회 전체의 어려움으로 직결될 수 있다. 무엇보다 교회 안에서 개인적인 아픔과 가정적인 어려움으로 인하여 드러내지 못하고 고통당하는 여성이 실제적으로 존재함을 생각할 때 여성인 사모들이 그들에게 좀 더 친밀하게 다가가 돌봄을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문은 이러한 연구의 필요성과 목적을 가지고 문헌조사와 사례조사, 면접상담의 과정을 통해 성경적 입장에서 목회상담의 원리와 방법을 논하였고 목회상담 협력자로서의 사모의 상담역할을 제시하였다. 나아가 이러한 역할을 할 수 있는 실제적 방안들을 사모와 교회에게 제안하였다.

Rapid changes of modern society brought about various problems in people`s everyday living and these problems are being raised more and more in pastoral ministries. It is becoming essential that churches cure people with these problems within them. If churches do not take up these problems, the congregation will reach out for help outside church, approaching the problems apart from biblical principles. Pastors are heavily occupied in their ministry of leading worship service, visitation, administration, attending various meetings, taking care of unexpected matters, etc. In short, they simply do not have time left for counseling. Consequently, the importance of counseling is often overlooked. This thesis focuses on the wisdom of substituting for the pastors with their wives for them to play the most ideal role of counseling as the closest partner and co-worker by assisting the pastors. Within church, women who outnumber men serve in various important areas of ministry. For the women their problems concern family and church beyond their personal matters. While some of them suffer in private, the wives can approach intimately the afflicted people to help. Furthermore, the women can do more than men with their better understandings of fellow women`s personal problems and perform the counseling more effectively. In order for pastors` wives to do good jobs, wives themselves should experience the changes through the biblical counseling with God`s sovereign power under the absolute authority of the Bible. That`s because this is the ministry of analyzing problems and healing people. The women first should be equipped with love of God and people and have clear understanding and knowledge with the right teachings of the Bible and love God and people. Often today`s reality in counseling lacks the biblical self-image and it is the core of problems. The pastors` wives who are in the precious position given by God should carry out their ministry to help and heal those in pain and distress in accordance with feeling of calling and right principles and methods of counseling. Hope and love of true gospel renew and restore each person through their dedicated care and concerns and glorify God. In addition, this will contribute positive influence as well as the joy and reward the wives experience. And churches and organizations with these women`s ministry should continually provide and spread the practical and concrete counseling training, based on the biblical principles, to other wives of the pastors who are willing to assume the role of counselor.
