    This paper focused on the widening our understanding of Lee Gyubo`s aesthetics. This work is basically based on the three layers of Lee Gyubo`s aesthetics. First is the combination between aesthetic imagination and external expression. Second is the taste in poems, artistic effect in pictures. It is related to the correspondence between poetry and art. Third is the nature as his aesthetic ideal. I``ve tried to figure out the meanings of this three layers in Lee Gyubo`s aesthetics. Especially I put emphasis on their understanding of his aesthetics by conneting the viewpoints of poetry, pictures and calligraphy. I believe that analyzing the Lee Gyubo`s aesthetics can contribute to understanding the literature and art history of the Goryeo dynasty.
