통합교육 현장에서 특수교사의 역할에 대한 범위 연구 = A Scoping Review of the Role of Special Education Teachers in Inclusive Education Settings in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적: 본 연구는 통합교육 현장에서 특수교사의 역할을 다룬 국내 선행 연구를 분석함으로써, 통합교육을 실천과 지원에 있어 특수교사의 핵심적인 역할을 조명하고 연구 및 실천에 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2025년도까지 발표된 학술 논문 30편을 대상으로 범위 연구(scoping review) 방법을 사용하여 연구 동향과 하위 주제를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 분석 결과 다음과 같은 4가지 주제가 도출되었다: 1) 특수교사의 역할 갈등, 2) 특수교사에게 요구되는 역할, 3) 특수교사의 역할 수행, 4) 특수교사 역할의 차이. 결론: 통합교육 현장에서 특수교사의 역할은 다양하게 분화되고 있으며, 특수교사와 ‘통합교육 지원 인력’ 간 역할 조정, ‘모두를 위한 교육’을 위한 특수교사의 역할 재개념화가 요구됨을 확인하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: To analyze the literature on the role of special education teachers in inclusive education, and to highlight the role of special education teachers in implementing and supporting inclusive education. Methods: A total of 30 studies published up to 2025 were reviewed using the scoping review method. General research trends and categorization of sub-themes related to the roles of special education teachers were analyzed. Results: Four major themes emerged: 1) role conflicts faced by special education teachers, 2) role expectations placed on special education teachers, 3) role enactment by special education teachers, and 4) variations in the roles of special education teachers. Conclusions: This study suggests that discussions on roles of special education teachers should be differentiated by school level. It highlights the need for role clarification between special education teachers and inclusive support teachers as well as expanded research on their contributions to Education for All.
