In this study, the presence of anaerobic ammonium oxidation(ANAMMOX) bacteria was analyzed by water quality analysis and microbial genome analysis in the anaerobic digestion fluid of swine manure and food waste effluent. After stabilization after 100 days of operation, the nitrogen treatment efficiency was over 97.5% at high nitrogen concentration (≥2,500 ppm). This is higher nitrogen treatment efficiency than Completely Autotrophic Nitrogen-removal Over Nitrite (CANON) process using partial nitrification and ANAMMOX bacteria. The microbial community structure of anoxic reactor, aerobic reactor and settling reactor was analyzed. As a result of the analysis of NGS, most of the microorganisms predominantly in the reactor are not cultured with Uncultured bacterium clones, so past techniques do not know whether they exist in the sample. ANAMMOX bacteria was present in high order in the anoxic reactor, aerobic reactor and settling reactor, and the role of microorganisms in the environment was obvious even if they were not dominant species. RT-qPCR revealed that ANAMMOX bacteria in anoxic reactor was relatively 3.5 times more present than ammonia oxidizing bacteria in aerobic reactor. Partial nitrification of ammonia nitrogen to nitrite nitrogen by ammonia oxidizing bacteria and the removal of ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen by ANAMMOX bacteria can effectively treat high concentrations of nitrogen wastewater.
