The purpose of this paper is to examine a researcher`s perceptions and perspectives in migrant narratives of multicultural families and to understand the problems of stereotyped views of role assignment and social identity in Korea. This study focused on a researcher`s viewpoint in migrant narratives and the meta-analysis of multicultural families` studies. The results were discussed in the following categories: migrant stereotypes, multiculturalism and the global tendency of feminization of migration, perception of communicative aspects in the Korean speech community, characteristics of Korea immigration, and migrant community building.
Although much attention has been paid to foreign migrants, many researchers have overlooked stereotyped views of migrant policies. An in-depth understanding of the migrant experience has highlighted the importance of understanding individual Based on these findings, this paper concludes by proposing perspectives of a field study on multicultural families. These can be useful to upgrade the methodologies in migrant studies.
