"Spiral Dynamics"is a model of human development based on the pioneering work of Clare W. Graves and formulated by Beck and Cowan (Spiral Dynamics is a registered trademark). Spiral Dynamics is a reconstructive science of development that discovered that human beings pass through eight major stages of development:beige, purple, red, blue, orange, green, yellow and turquoise. Higher stages are postulated to be emerging at this time. This model is a thinking about complexities of human existence and bringing some order of human affairs. It provides a framework for tracking the evolution of worldviews and a scaffold on which to stand while analyzing situations and planning the most appropriate actions.
