In small and medium enterprises, technological collaboration in the context of Open Innovation paradigm has emerged as a significant antecedent of innovation performance. To investigate this relationship, a regression analysis was conducted and findings suggest that the relationship between open technology collaboration, which is represented as technology innovation sources and technology collaboration method, and technology innovation performance is positive. Moreover, the moderating effects of contextual factors such as competitive intensity, market turbulence, technology characteristics, interaction with customers, are examined. The results indicate that the interaction of open technology collaboration and technology characteristics is significantly related to technology innovation performance, while none of other interactions are related to innovation performance.
