오페라 감상 지도방안 연구 : 고등학교 교과서를 중심으로

Among various areas in music study, appreciation training is very important because it allows students to understand music comprehensively and makes them get understand in music. Through music appreciation training, students can meet diverse musical pieces; as a result, their musical sensibility can be raised by growing perceiving and reacting to musical expressive elements and tone development.
In appreciation class, selection of proper musical pieces is most important in order to understand musical concepts and diverse musical activities. In order to obtain great effect from a restricted class time, musical pieces for the class should be interesting and educational.
Opera is a collective art composed with various elements such as vocal music, orchestra, scenario, ballet, stage technology, light, make-up, costumes etc.; appreciating operas can be a collective artistic experience.
This study intends to propose a music appreciation in a activity respect in more liberal environment, not existing uniform and standardized style, so that high school students can have musical interest and attention as well as proper appreciating attitude so as to met music in daily life through opera appreciation training for the students.
For this, the meaning of music appreciation and the appreciation content are firstly studied in current music and education course, and then the meaning of opera appreciation in the education course is investigated.
Data on operas in the current eight high school music textbooks is analyzed, and each practical value is studied for opera appreciation class. With the proposal to teach operas more effectively, training guides to be utilized in the school are proposed.
In order to guide opera appreciation class effectively, sufficient data related to opera should be provided to students, and appreciation should be made using high-quality media. Most of all, the class should be performed focused on various activities, in order to induce students attention.
Likewise, students musicality and initiativeness can be edified, and sufficient feeling can be built by effective operation of opera appreciation class. Therefore, teachers should study teaching guidances to enforce opera appreciation effect in the school and develop creative class guidance for more advanced musical class, based on this study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

음악학습의 여러 영역 중에서 감상학습은 음악에 대한 폭 넓고 깊이 있는 이해를 할 수 있으며 음악에 관심과 흥미를 갖게 한다는 점에서 매우 중요하다. 음악 감상학습을 통해 다양한 악곡을 접함으로 음악의 표현적 요소와 음 현상에 대한 감지력과 민감한 반응력을 길러 음악적 감수성을 기를 수 있다.
감상수업에서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 감상곡에 대한 음악 개념의 이해와 다양한 음악 활동을 위하여 적절한 악곡이 선택되어야 하는 것이다. 한정된 수업시간 안에 많은 효과를 이끌어 내기 위해 감상수업의 악곡이 보다 흥미롭고 교육적 가치를 지닌 것이어야 한다.
감상 수업의 악곡으로 오페라는 성악, 오케스트라, 연기, 대본, 발레, 무대기술, 조명, 분장, 의상 등 다양한 요소들로 구성된 종합예술로서 오페라를 감상한다는 것은 한마디로 예술적인 총체적 체험이 될 수 있다.
본 연구에서는 고등학생을 대상으로 한 오페라 감상학습을 통해서 학생들에게 음악적 흥미와 관심을 유도하고 바른 감상태도를 길러 음악을 생활화할 수 있도록 기존의 감상수업처럼 일률적이고 획일화된 방식이 아닌 보다 자유로운 환경에서 수업을 활동적 측면에서 함께 할 수 있는 방안을 제시함을 목적으로 한다.
이를 위해 먼저 음악 감상교육의 의의와 현행 음악과 교육과정에서의 감상교육의 내용을 알아보고 교육과정에 있어서 오페라 감상이 갖는 의미를 고찰해 보았다.
연구의 실제로 우선 현행 8종 교과서에 수록되어진 오페라에 관한 자료를 분석하여 오페라 감상수업의 자료로써 활용가치를 살펴보았고 오페라를 보다 효율적으로 가르칠 수 있는 방안과 함께 실제 학교 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 학습 지도안을 제시하였다.
오페라 감상수업을 효과적으로 이끌기 위해서는 학생들에게 오페라에 관련된 충분한 자료가 제공되어져야 하고 양질의 영상매체를 이용한 감상이 되어야 한다. 무엇보다 다양한 활동중심의 수업을 이끌어서 학생들의 흥미를 유도해야 한다.
이와 같이 오페라 감상수업을 효과적으로 운영함으로 학생들의 음악성과 창의성 계발과 풍부한 정서 함양에 좋은 영향을 미칠 것으로 본다. 따라서 본 연구를 토대로 교사는 학교 현장에서 오페라 감상효과를 높일 수 있는 방법을 연구하고 창의적인 수업지도안을 개발함으로 더욱 발전적인 음악교육을 하도록 노력해야 할 것이다.
