This study investigated the impact of ‘digital divide’ on e-government implementation in the Public Service of Ghana. A Mixed Method approach was used to explore three hypotheses and three research questions. Data was gathered through surveys and interviews from 20 Public Services institutions in Ghana with a total of 350 randomly selected respondents through questionnaire. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used in analyzing data via SmartPLS and SPSS. The findings indicate an existing digital divide which is crippling the e-government in Ghana’s public service due to inadequate ICT Infrastructure, inadequate ICT Access and lack of ICT skilled personnel. Recommendations are made to bridge the digital divide.
